I have many, many books. They are displayed on a built in bookshelf that takes up the entire wall in my office. I have a few points of interest on the shelves here and there. However, when I saw this figurine I knew it would fit perfectly on one of my shelves. Both my wife and I are avid readers, and many times I find her in this exact position stretched out by the fireplace reading. I put this up and she liked this item as well. This figurine is made of resin, it doesn't take up a huge space as the figurine is narrow enough to put on your bookshelf since it's longer than higher. I love it. and it would also make for a nice gift for anyone who enjoys something a little novel (no pun intended). The price is very nominal as well.

It is eye-catching and looks great on a shelf, table, fireplace mantle, or desk. It is made of good quality resin, and because of that, it feels solid, but you should still handle it gently. Aside from the its exquisite appearance, this piece is also an example of what can be made using resin and pulp, making it less expensive and environmentally safe - I really like that!

This little reader is adorable, unique and reasonably priced! I placed her on top of few books in bookcase which is dark stain so she stands out. Have gotten many compliments. It goes with any decor and can be placed in any room. Adds just an extra touch to decor. So happy I ordered. Also think it would be a neat little gift, especially for a teacher or just a little 'happy' for someone.
